ADAM BROWN Bmus(hons) PGDip
Adam Brown studied trumpet performance at the Trinity College of Music where he was awarded a PGDip with distinction. Previous studies took place at the University of Surrey, Roehampton Institute where he gained a Bachelor of Music degree with 1st Class Honours. His teachers have included some of the most sought-after trumpeters in London including Brian Thompson, Paul Mayes, Mike Lovatt, Mark Bennett and Edward Maxwell.
Alongside his commitments as the Director of MajesticMusic, Adam enjoys a varied freelance and session career in the UK which includes performances with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra and as a regular deputy on West End Shows. As well as working on the recent production of "Evita", Adam is currently a deputy on the popular musical "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" featuring the Any Dream Will Do winner Lee Mead and on the acclaimed Monty Python show "Spamalot".
Between 2002-2006 Adam was a member of the National Youth Jazz Orchestra with whom he performed at many venues throughout the UK, including Ronnie Scott's famed jazz club in London's Soho. He is also currently lead trumpet with the award winning SE10 Brass, principal trumpet with the Jersey Symphony Orchestra and solo trumpet with the London Contemporary Music group performing the world-premieres of works by composers such as Colin Matthews and Philip Cooke.

Commercial successes include performances with a who's who of British Jazz including John Dankworth CBE, Dame Cleo Laine, Stan Tracey, Guy Barker and Tina May (to name a few) as well as with such celebrities as classical star Leslie Garrett, Spandau Ballet's Tony Hadley and the ever popular Jamie Cullum. Adam also played lead trumpet on the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra's recent recording of Leonard Bernstein's "West Side Story".
Television work ranges from a performance with gospel star Dr. Ron Kenoli to a televised audience of 45 million on Sky Television, to the pilot of ITV's "Simply The Best". As a touring musician Adam has worked in Cyprus, Singapore and Malaysia with the hit musical "My Fair Lady" and recently in Kuala Lumpur with the acclaimed show "Chicago". Adam is on the teaching faculty of Roehampton University and is in demand as a private brass tutor.
Other groups he has performed with include the Royal Air Force Squadronaires, Camerata of London, the Voices of Venice Orchestra, the Mike Smith Orchestra, the Elvis Years, the Nick Ross Orchestra, Opus One Big Band, Hot Orange Big Band and leading function band Groovin' High.
In his native Jersey, Adam is the Musical Director of the popular function band Wavelength, the Kings of Swing and is Artistic Director of Acappella Brass.
