If you prefer the golden sounds of the swing era then the 'Kings of Swing' are the ensemble for you. Formed in 2007, this 8-piece band (click here) offers a more practical and affordable alternative to a standard 16-piece big band, yet plays all the classics you would expect to hear by such legendary figures as Glenn Miller, Count Basie and Duke Ellington (click here).
The group also boats two fantastic singers (male & female) who pay tribute to the many stars of the era including Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald and Bobby Darin as well as more contemporary crooners such as Michael Buble and Harry Connick Jr.
Led by Adam Brown, the group's energy and passion for the music cannot help but get your feet tapping and your fingers clicking! Whether it be for background music or for an absolutely swingin' evening party, this band never fails to impress.
The ensemble recently performed with X-Factor runner up Ray Quinn at the Family Nursing Grand Charity Ball at the Hotel De France to a very appreciative audience with many of the guests relishing the opportunity to dance in a strictly ballroom way!
A night with the 'Kings' is definately one to remember and will certainly add that little extra bit of class to your function.
